May Wall Discusses Environmental Disclosure at ABA Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources Law's Fall Summit
Firm Speakers: May Wall
Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, Baltimore, MD

Winston & Strawn environmental partner May Wall, based in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, served as a speaker during the 17th Fall Summit of the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources Law held September 23-26, 2009 in Baltimore.

Ms. Wall participated on a panel discussion titled "Hot Topics in Environmental Disclosure: Climate Risk Disclosure Obligations and Developments" that examined new accounting, loss contingency, and international financial reporting standards that companies will be required to provide as environmental disclosure increasingly becomes a hot-button issue. The panel also explored an expected climate change disclosure standard currently being discussed by the Obama Administration that is likely to foster additional environmental regulatory initiatives.
