One of the most important things we do as trial
lawyers is condense a set of often complex facts that we have spent countless hours mastering in a way that will be easily understood by a jury. One useful technique in explaining a complex set of facts to a jury that trial lawyers overlook is the use
of demonstrative aids. Demonstrative charts or other aids summarizing the evidence are helpful tools in aiding the jury, and in some instances, demonstrative summaries of voluminous evidence can even be admitted into evidence. |
