In the fall of 2009, the IRS announced certain retirement and savings initiatives intended to give employees more opportunities to save for retirement on a tax-deferred basis. These initiatives come in the form of IRS guidance on a number of issues. Two of these pieces of guidance are of particular interest to 401(k) plan sponsors. |
