The Employee Benefit Security Administration within the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) recently published its final rule (Final Rule) addressing disclosures that service providers must provide to plan fiduciaries, in order for a contract or arrangement for services to be “reasonable” in satisfaction of the statutory exemption for service contracts or arrangements between a plan and a party in interest under Section 408(b)(2) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended (ERISA). |
