Winston & Strawn partner Franz Stirnimann Fuentes spoke at the Latin American Conference on Arbitration 2012 (CLA), held on June 28 and 29, 2012, in Medellin, Colombia. The conference, which is amongst the most important arbitration events in Latin America and is sponsored by international and local arbitration institutions, brought together specialists in the field of international arbitration in Latin America.

On June 28, Mr. Stirnimann Fuentes spoke on current reform of arbitration rules and guidelines. He was joined on the panel, titled "The Modernization of Arbitration Rules: A Senseless Competition or An Inevitable Exercise," by Katherina Gonzalez Arrocha, Domenico di Pietro, Ignacio Torterola, Fernando Cantuarias, Adriana Braghetta, and Jose Moreno Rodriguez, among others.
