Winston & Strawn hosted a meeting in the firm's New York office for Women in Energy on Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Diana Drysdale, President of PSEG Solar Source, the solar development arm of Public Service Enterprise Group, spoke briefly about her career and work.
Women in Energy is a networking group that brings together professionals in energy-related jobs in a casual setting to talk about current issues in their field and form connections that can support and educate them as they advance in their careers.
Drawn from the New York metropolitan area, this ad hoc group includes professionals working for power companies, regulators, investment and corporate banks, rating agencies, NGO's, law firms, accounting firms and specialty consultancies.
The group, which is open to men and women, has existed in various forms over the years in New York City. It is being revived at a time when the energy sector is undergoing a period of transformation and growth in order to promote creative and productive dialogues among people with shared professional interests.
Hosts were:
- Abby Gruen, SNL Energy
- May Wall and Lisa Cottle, Winston & Strawn LLP
- Judy Domkowski, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank
- Mary Power, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg
