Mark Bravin, a partner in Winston & Strawn's Washington, D.C. office who focuses his practice on international dispute resolution and international trade, spoke at the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) 2012 Annual Conference held June 27-30 in Chicago.

Mr. Bravin spoke on the panel titled "International Agreements: Critical Contract Provisions - Don't Leave Home Without Them." This session focused on:

  • Choice of law; choice of forum; choice of language
  • Dispute resolution—planning ahead for trouble or termination
  • Structuring and terminating agreements for foreign workers
  • Other key contract provisions

Mr. Bravin was joined by Peter Katz, of Harvard University, and William Nicholson, associate counsel at Duke University.
