San Francisco partner Joan Fife was selected as one of California's "Top Labor and Employment Lawyers" by the Daily Journal in a "Labor & Employment" supplement published on July 18, 2012.

The article highlighted two specific cases in which Ms. Fife defeated class certification last year and also negotiated a favorable settlement that resulted in the plaintiff dismissing the state and nationwide classes. 

Ms. Fife also expressed surprise that the decision in AT&T Mobility v. Conception, supporting mandatory arbitration agreements had not spurred more businesses to implement programs. 

This is the third consecutive year Ms. Fife has been recognized in the "Top Labor and Employment Lawyers" by the Daily Journal.
