Brinton Scott's arrival to Winston & Strawn's Shanghai office was featured in various media outlets, including the Asian Lawyer, American Lawyer, Yahoo! Finance, and Dow Jones Market Watch. Mr. Scott advises international companies on joint ventures and other foreign investment transactions in China. He joins the firm from Clyde & Co.

Mr. Scott has worked in China for nearly 16 years and has extensive experience in advising Fortune 500 and large private multinational corporations on diverse high stakes projects involving acquisitions, buy-outs, large-scale Greenfields, and foreign direct investment in an array of industries including insurance, retail (electronic, food, and fashion), aerospace, chemical, pharmaceutical, pulp & paper, real estate, and automotive.
