Winston & Strawn tax attorney Bradley Marsh was recently elected to chair the California State Bar Taxation Section Executive Committee. Mr. Marsh's term as chair-elect will begin following the 2012 State Bar Annual Meeting on October 14, 2012. On October 13, 2013, he will begin his term as Chair.
Founded in 1974, the Taxation Section is California's only statewide tax bar association, with a membership of approximately 3,000. The Section accepts attorneys from other states and non-attorneys as associate members, which includes accountants, financial planners, pension and trust administrators, actuaries, tax executives, federal, state and local tax administrators, educators, other tax practitioners, and law students. It also publishes the California Tax Lawyer.
