Sophie Bury joined Winston & Strawn’s Paris office in 2006 as an associate in the labor and employment practice.
Under her partners’ and senior associates’ supervision, she focuses her practice in various labor and employment litigation and counseling matters.
She notably assists clients on labor, employment, and employee benefit issues that arise in mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and reorganization, and/or other changes in corporate ownership.
She also represents clients before French Courts in plaintiff litigation under a wide variety of employment and civil rights laws and helps clients prevent costly employment dispute and litigation.
Education
Ms. Bury received a Master’s degree (D.E.A.) in Labor and Employment Law from the University of Paris I — Panthéon Sorbonne in 2003, and a post-graduate degree in Law and International Management from HEC & ESCP-EAP Business Schools in 2004.
