Nathan E. Hoffman, Partner

Nathan Hoffman is a litigation partner who concentrates his practice in complex commercial matters, including product liability and antitrust.

Mr. Hoffman has extensive experience defending product liability claims in the pharmaceutical industry. He has been a member of six successful trial teams that have obtained defense verdicts for Pfizer Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Wyeth Pharmaceuticals after lengthy jury trials in both state and federal courts. Most recently, Mr. Hoffman represented Pfizer in federal court in Nebraska and obtained a unanimous defense verdict after a three-week jury trial (Kammerer v. Wyeth, et al.). Mr. Hoffman also has represented clients against claims of monopolization, attempted monopolization, and price fixing, including the firm’s successful defense of Microsoft Corporation during the remedies phase of the government’s antitrust lawsuit against the company. Mr. Hoffman also has argued cases before both state and federal courts, including the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.
