Glynna Christian Spoke at ITechLaw’s 2010 World Technology Law Conference & Annual Meeting

Winston & Strawn New York partner Glynna Christian, who is chair of the firm's sourcing practice, spoke at ITechLaw's World Technology Law Conference & Annual Meeting held at the Charles Hotel in Boston on May 21, 2010.

Ms. Christian addressed maximizing value through the RFP process. In addition to her portion of the presentation, "Contracting and Outsourcing," other speakers addressed the following topics:

  • EDS v BSkyB: the impact of this recent landmark UK decision about how suppliers sell and contract for major outsourced IT solutions in the UK and elsewhere 
  • Contract Issues in cloud computing 
  • Enforcement of open source software licenses across jurisdictions

Joining Glynna Christian on the panel were Clive Seddon of Pinsent Masons, Jan Geertz Meents of DLA Piper and Sara Duval Harrington of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. The panel was moderated by Stuart Meyer of Fenwick & West.
