Winston & Strawn’s public finance practice has been recognized by The Bond Buyer as one of the “nation’s leading bond and underwriter’s counsel in 2011.” The firm ranked third among law firms advising on transactions worth almost $10 billion, a positive increase from last year’s sixth place ranking. Winston & Strawn is the only firm in this category who saw its market share almost double, and total dollar volume rise from year to year. The firm also ranked tenth among law firms acting as bond counsel on debt offerings worth nearly $5.5 billion, a huge leap from its forty-sixth place ranking in 2010.
