Winston & Strawn represented the underwriters, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi and JP Morgan, as special healthcare regulatory counsel in connection with the initial public offering of hospital operator HCA Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: HCA). The HCA IPO, valued at approximately $4.35 billion, has been widely reported to be the largest private equity backed IPO in U.S. history.
