Winston & Strawn Bolsters Real Estate Practice with Addition of Christine Spletzer to its New York Office

NEW YORK — Winston & Strawn LLP announced today that Christine Spletzer has joined its real estate practice in New York as of counsel. Spletzer brings more than 20 years of sophisticated experience in the area of mortgage and asset securitization and finance. In recent years, Spletzer’s practice has focused on the area of commercial mortgage-backed securitization, representing issuers, underwriters and loan sellers in connection with securities offerings. She joins Winston from Duval & Stachenfeld LLP, where she was a partner and co-chair of their structured finance strategies practice group. Spletzer previously was a special counsel in the capital markets group at Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft.

Spletzer earned her J.D., with distinction, from Hofstra University School of Law, where she was a member of the Hofstra Law Review. She received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Adelphi University.
