Laurence Burger's recent move to Winston & Strawn's Geneva office was featured in the January 11, 2011 issue of Global Arbitration Review (GAR). Ms. Burger told GAR that one of the reasons she made the move was for the opportunity to do investment work. Ricardo Ugarte, managing partner of the firm's Geneva office, has built a considerable investment arbitration practice.

Burger has acted as counsel in arbitrations under ICC, American Arbitration Association, UNCITRAL, and the Swiss Rules. She combines her arbitration work with a corporate law practice, chiefly advising clients on issues relating to Swiss contract law.
