A group of partner from Winston & Strawn's New York office were recently selected as 2008 Super Lawyers for the New York metro region. The New York partners selected include Edmund Cohen, Michael Elkin, Deborah Goldstein, David Neier, Thomas Quigley, Virginia Richard, and Corey Tessler.

Super Lawyers is a listing of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Super Lawyers magazine names attorneys in each state who received the highest point totals, as selected by their peers and through the independent research of Law & Politics. The magazine is published in all 50 states and reaches more than 13 million readers. 

The partners named to the Super Lawyers list will also be featured in an upcoming special section of The New York Times.
