David Bloch is a partner in the San Francisco office of international law firm Winston & Strawn LLP. He concentrates his practice on complex intellectual property litigation. Mr. Bloch received a B.A. in Political Science in 1993 from Reed College, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received a Master of Public Health in 1996 from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and a J.D., with honors, in 1996 from George Washington University Law School. In 1997, Mr. Bloch was a fellow in International Trade Law at the University of European Studies in Turin, Italy. He is a member of the Bar of California and the District of Columbia. A frequent lecturer worldwide, he is the co-author of Intellectual Property in Government Contracts (Oxford), now in its second edition, and numerous articles in trade and academic publications. In 2012, he was named one of the top 75 intellectual property litigators in California by the Daily Journal; in 2013, he was named a Northern California Super Lawyer.
