Patrick Strubbe is an associate in the firm’s Charlotte office whose practice focuses on corporate lending and corporate finance matters.
Mr. Strubbe has experience in structuring, negotiating and documenting a variety of complex secured and unsecured financing arrangements, including single bank and syndicated credit agreements, multicurrency financing facilities, mezzanine financings, and acquisition financings for clients that include national banking institutions, corporations and private equity funds.
In addition to his law firm experience, Mr. Strubbe served as a law clerk to the Honorable Michael S. Kanne on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and to the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Honors and Awards
While earning his law degree from Vanderbilt, Mr. Strubbe received the Vanderbilt Scholastic Excellence Award. He was also an octofinalist in the moot court competition.
Activities
Mr. Strubbe is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and the Mecklenburg County Bar Association.
Education
Mr. Strubbe received his B.S., in Business Administration, with a concentration in Political Science, from the University of Kansas in 1998. In 2009, Mr. Strubbe received his J.D. from the Vanderbilt University Law School. Mr. Strubbe received the Vanderbilt Law School & Owen School of Management Law and Business Certificate.
