Eva Cole is a litigation partner in Winston & Strawn’s New York office. Ms. Cole’s practice areas comprise a range of complex commercial litigation including antitrust, class action, and sports and entertainment law litigation. Ms. Cole has represented clients in all stages of litigation, including appeals.
Antitrust Experience:
In recent years, Ms. Cole’s practice principally focuses on international cartel investigations and class actions. Her experience extends from representing clients, both corporations and individuals, in government investigations brought by antitrust authorities around the world, including the U.S., Australia, Brazil, Canada, the Czech Republic, Europe, Hungary, Korea, Mexico, and New Zealand to the civil side of cartel cases, where she represents clients in multi-district and related class actions. Ms. Cole has also represented various companies in antitrust lawsuits involving a range of federal and state antitrust claims. For example, Ms. Cole was involved in securing a major victory on summary judgment for Panasonic Avionics Corporation and Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. in an international antitrust suit involving predatory pricing and other monopolization claims. Ms. Cole was selected to Global Competition Review’s “40 Under 40” list for 2012, a survey of young lawyers whose “superior technical skill, practical judgment and commitment to the competition sector mark them out as part of the next generation of leading antitrust practitioners.”
Class Action and Multi-District Litigation Experience:
Ms. Cole’s experience in this area includes her representation of Panasonic Corporation of North America in both consumer and antitrust class actions and multi-district litigations, among other types of work.
Sports and Entertainment Law Litigation Experience:
Ms. Cole regularly represents NFL players in disputes with NFL clubs over player contracts and other labor issues arising under the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement. Ms. Cole has also represented other sports and entertainment entities in suits involving constitutional, antitrust, and other issues.
Honors and Awards
Ms. Cole was named to Global Competition Review’s “40 Under 40” in 2012. She was also recognized by the American Bar Association in 2008 as a Ross Essay Contest Finalist. While Ms. Cole was working at Dewey & LeBoeuf, she received a Pro Bono Award in 2007.

Activities
Ms. Cole is a member of the Section of Antitrust Law for the American Bar Association. She is also an active member of the Antitrust & Trade Regualtion Committee of the New York City Bar.
Education
Ms. Cole received a J.D., cum laude, from Boston University School of Law in 2003. She received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis in 2000.
