Lee Pepper is an associate in the firm's litigation department. His practice areas comprise a range of complex commercial litigation, including securities, mergers and acquisitions, contests for corporate control, corporate governance, and class and derivative actions. Mr. Pepper has experience in a wide range of matters in federal and state courts, including disputes alleging violations of Section 10(b) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and Rule 10b-5, breach of contract, fraud, fraudulent transfer, breach of fiduciary duty, and other business torts. He has represented firm clients in a variety of industries, including commercial and investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, health care, pharmaceuticals, insurance, biotech, and energy. Mr. Pepper has experience working on trials, appeals, complex discovery matters, and motion practice. He is active in the firm's pro bono program.
Honors and Awards
Mr. Pepper received Empire State Counsel Designation from NYSBA for Outstanding Pro Bono Contribution.
Education
Mr. Pepper received a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 2006. He received a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2009, where he was an annual survey editor for the Twenty-Fourth Survey of White Collar Crime and was a member of the American Criminal Law Review.
