Peter Lambrianakos is an intellectual property associate whose practice focuses on patent, trademark, and commercial litigation.
Mr. Lambrianakos’ patent infringement experience includes litigating cases involving a wide range of technologies, such as portable audience meters, automated storage and retrieval systems, digital recorders, web-based proposal-generation systems, video surveillance systems, dental implants, laminated flooring products, and medical devices. In addition, he has litigated disputes over inventorship and ownership of patents. Mr. Lambrianakos has participated in all aspect of litigation through trial and appeal, including conducting Markman hearings.
In addition, Mr. Lambrianakos has successfully litigated trademark infringement and counterfeiting matters in federal courts. In several cases, he obtained ex parte temporary restraining orders against suspected counterfeiters and negotiated favorable settlements that included stipulated permanent injunctions and damages.
As a commercial litigator, Mr. Lambrianakos has experience in matters relating to diverse areas of law, including trade secrets, securities fraud, employment, contracts, environmental, banking, municipal, and real estate.
Activities
Mr. Lambrianakos is a member of the American Bar Association’s Intellectual Property and Litigation Sections and the New York State Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section.
Education
Mr. Lambrianakos received a B.S.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from University of Pennsylvania in 1993. He received his J.D., from Fordham University School of Law in 1996, where he was a member of the Fordham International Law Journal.
