Caroline Wenzke joined the firm’s advertising, marketing, and privacy law group in 2012. She practices primarily in marketing, promotions, advertising, trademark, copyright, privacy, and other intellectual property matters.
Ms. Wenzke regularly advises clients regarding marketing and promotions, including sweepstakes, contests, sponsorship agreements, advertising clearance/claim substantiation, social media, and user-generated content. She also has experience drafting privacy policies, reviewing brand websites and mobile apps for privacy law compliance issues, preparing website and application terms of use, and advising clients on other privacy matters, including online behavioral advertising. Ms. Wenzke also advises clients regarding data security issues, and has worked on privacy due diligence matters for corporate mergers and acquisitions.
Education
Ms. Wenzke received her B.A., magna cum laude, in History from the University of Notre Dame in 2008. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2011, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as a note editor on the Michigan Journal of International Law.
