William J. Grant is a partner in the firm’s New York office whose practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate finance transactions, and corporate governance.
Mr. Grant has significant experience counseling major corporate clients, including investment banks, in financings and acquisitions with a particular emphasis in both the health care and technology sectors domestically and internationally.
Activities
Mr. Grant has been a visiting lecturer on securities regulation at the University of Virginia Law School and has spoken frequently at professional and industry seminars.
Education
Mr. Grant received a B.A. in 1967 from Washington and Lee University and a J.D. in 1970 from the University of Virginia School of Law.
Speeches and Publications
Mr. Grant co-edited Mechanics of Underwriting: A Practitioner's Guide, published by the Practising Law Institute (1985). He has been a visiting lecturer on securities regulation at the University of Virginia Law School and has spoken frequently at professional and industry seminars. In 1993, at the request of the Chinese government, he presented a seminar in Beijing on the then newly proposed Chinese Securities Code.
