Ms. Hutton is a partner in Winston & Strawn’s Chicago office and focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation.
Ms. Hutton has handled corporate internal investigations and contract disputes for clients. She has represented clients in matters involving various allegations of corporate wrongdoing, including unauthorized trading and fraud.
Recently, Ms. Huttton successfully represented Illinois Tool Works in the Illinois Appellate Court and Illinois Supreme Court in Illinois Tool Works Inc. v. Commerce & Industry, et al. 926 N.E.2d 1042 (Ill. App. 1st Dist. 2011), petition for leave to appeal to Illinois Supreme Court denied.
Honors and Awards
Ms. Hutton was the 2007 recipient of the Young Alumna of the Year Award from Northern Illinois University College of Law.
Activities
Ms. Hutton serves on the Board of Directors for the AIDS Legal Council of Chicago and Mississippi Center for Justice. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and the Alumni Council of Northern Illinois University College of Law.
Education
Ms. Hutton received a B.A. in English, summa cum laude, in 1997 from Tougaloo College. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, in 2001 from Northern Illinois University College of Law, where she served on the Northern Illinois University Law Review.
