Jean-Pierre Collet is a tax partner in the firm's Paris office who concentrates his practice on the structuring of investment funds and their investments in France.
Mr. Collet has 18 years of experience advising international groups, including private equity houses, in their investments and restructuring transactions in France. In connection with those transactions, Mr. Collet negotiates tax issues, conducts due diligence, and provides post-acquisition advice. He also has dealt with tax litigation issues, including the negotiation of rulings with the Ministry of Finances.
Education
Mr. Collet received a DESS in Taxation from the University of Paris IX-Dauphine in 1987. He received a Maîtrise in Business Law and Taxation from the University of Paris II-Assas in 1986.
