Chip Molster, a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, has extensive experience handling complex litigation matters involving a wide range of issues in federal and state courts around the country.

Mr. Molster concentrates his practice in complex commercial, antitrust, telecommunications, patent infringement, injunction, and intellectual property litigation. He also has represented clients in products liability litigation, corporate governance/shareholder litigation, trademark/copyright litigation, securities litigation, environmental litigation, construction arbitration, and numerous matters involving arbitration, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution.

Activities

Mr. Molster is a member of the Fourth Circuit Judicial Conference, the Fairfax Bar Association, The Barristers, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He is a faculty member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and the D.C. Bar Continuing Legal Education Program. Mr. Molster serves as legal counsel to St. Stephens and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Va., and also serves as legal counsel to the Bishop John T. Walker School for Boys located in Anacostia in the District of Columbia. He previously served as a member of the board of directors of the University of Richmond Law School and St. Stephens and St. Agnes School.


Education

Mr. Molster received a B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1979 and a J.D. from the University of Richmond School of Law in 1983.
