The firm has represented nuclear material transporters and advised medical licensees in civil and criminal enforcement proceedings and the NRC's Alternative Dispute Resolution process. Notably, Winston & Strawn has represented major university hospitals in NRC investigation and enforcement matters concerning the execution of gamma stereotactic radiosurgery (commonly referred to as Gamma Knife surgery).
