In January 2008, Winston & Strawn launched our eleventh office located in Charlotte—a financial and manufacturing powerhouse widely recognized as a growing business center—with a significant group of prominent finance attorneys practicing out of Charlotte's Hearst Tower. The firm's Charlotte office focuses largely on corporate finance, corporate lending, and general corporate legal services.

Our finance attorneys in Charlotte primarily represent financial institutions in large syndicated credit facilities, including cross-border and multicurrency facilities, extended to U.S. and multinational companies in the consumer, industrial, technology, health care, and other sectors. These attorneys also offer additional capabilities in structured finance and securitization transactions, the financing of private equity acquisitions, and credit facility restructurings and workouts.

Furthering the firm's commitment to expansion, Winston recently announced the addition of a prominent group of litigators from Hunton & Williams to Winston's Charlotte office. These attorneys' substantial experience in litigation and environmental matters will allow the office to provide a broader array of legal services to our clients in the North Carolina marketplace.
