June 12, 2014
Winston & Strawn litigation partner and chair of the appellate and critical motions practice Linda Coberly was awarded the Human Rights Practitioner Award at the 15th Annual National Immigrant Justice Center Human Rights Awards in Chicago on June 12, 2014.
Since 2000, the National Immigrant Justice Center’s (NIJC) Human Rights Awards luncheon has honored human rights champions and celebrated the contributions of business, civic, and philanthropic leaders. The luncheon provides critical funding for NIJC to ensure that it can continue to promote human rights and access to justice for immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Winston & Strawn sponsored the event.
Based in the firm’s Chicago office, Ms. Coberly focuses her practice on appeals and motions that resolve complex commercial lawsuits before trial.
