Winston & Strawn partner Jeffrey Kessler spoke at the 2015 Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal Symposium on April 10 in Villanova, PA. This year’s symposium, "Game-Changers: An Insider Look at a Volatile Year in Sports," explored the most talked-about issues in sports, spanning high-profile sports law cases to recent shifts in the NCAA landscape. The program was hosted by Villanova University School of Law.
Mr. Kessler participated in the symposium’s third panel, “NCAA Change and Challenges: a Landscape in Flux.” Joining Mr. Kessler were Villanova University president Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD, Villanova athletic director Vince Nicastro, College Athletes Players Association founder and president Ramogi Huma, and NCAA executive director Oliver Luck.
Based in the firm’s New York office, Mr. Kessler serves as co-chair of the sports law practice and head of the global antitrust/competition practice. He focuses his practice on all aspects of antitrust/competition, sports law, intellectual property, complex litigation, and government criminal and civil investigations.
