Golinveaux Discusses Legal Challenges for Internet Video Services

Litigation partner Jennifer Golinveaux, based in Winston & Strawn's San Francisco office, spoke at Gotham Media Venture's Copyright and Technology 2012 on December 5, 2012. This day-long event examined the latest developments and technologies in the fields of copyright and content security.
As part of the law and policy track, Ms. Golinveaux spoke on the panel titled "TV or Not TV: Legal Challenges for Internet Video Services." This session examined the provisions in the copyright law that are at issue regarding new video services and discussed both recent litigations and where the legal battlegrounds of the future might be.
Ms. Golinveaux was joined by Eleanor Lackman of Cowan DeBaets Abrahams & Sheppard; Todd Larson of Weil Gotshal & Manges; and Toby Butterfield of Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz. David Leibowitz of CH Potomac moderated the panel.
