Winston & Strawn and the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology hosted a seminar on Global Strategies for IP on September 14, 2017 in Palo Alto, California. The program was followed by a cocktail reception.
The program featured an interactive discussion on multinational enforcement of intellectual property rights led by leaders in global IP protection and enforcement. Topics included:
- The underlying problem of IP infringement outside the U.S., its impact on U.S. companies, and available remedies
- Role of Section 337 litigations in global litigation strategy
- Actions in foreign venues, including retaliatory actions before competition authorities and patent litigations, both in
- Asia and Europe
