February 14, 2014
The addition of Winston & Strawn partner Dan Passage and of counsel Francisco Flores to the firm’s Los Angeles office was featured in various publications, including the Daily Journal, Law360, Structured Credit Investor, The American Lawyer, and Metropolitan News-Enterprise. Both join Winston from Bingham McCutchen.
Dab Passage works on transactions involving the origination, financing, and securitization of novel asset classes, and has handled offerings listed on European and Asian securities exchanges. Francisco Flores handles structured financing transactions and cross-border transactions in Latin America. He has worked on convertible debt offerings for domestic and foreign corporations.
Mr. Passage told the Daily Journal he is looking forward to working with Winston’s energy and entertainment practices on financing matters. “I like the mix of practices they have here, and I particularly like the people they have in the L.A. office. I feel very lucky.”
Regarding the office’s continued expansion, Los Angeles managing partner Eric Sagerman said: “We have a very diversified and deep corporate bench in Los Angeles. We couldn’t be more pleased to have Dan join us and round that out.”
In the past year, Winston has added seven transactional attorneys to its Los Angeles office.
