April 26, 2018
For the second year running, Winston & Strawn in-house rock band Jimmy’s Brother served up the winning performance at the Law Rocks San Francisco competition.
The April 19 event was held at The Chapel, where seven law firm bands jammed their hearts out for their charity of choice. Jimmy’s Brother brought the house down in support of Rocket Dog Rescue, a San Francisco Bay Area nonprofit that saves dogs from overcrowded shelters and helps get them adopted. The band raised more than $13,000 in donations and ticket sales. They supported the same organization in 2017.
Jimmy’s Brother features Winston Los Angeles Partner John Schreiber and incoming Los Angeles Associate Deven Klee. Miles Silverstein (son of New York Partner Kelly Librera) was a special guest vocalist.
Full set list:
- “Bang a Gong (Get It On)” (T.Rex)/mash up with “Cigarettes & Alcohol” (Oasis)
- “Unbelievable“ (EMF)
