Winston & Strawn is seeking to hire a staff attorney to join our labor and employment practice in our Charlotte office. 

Responsibilities performed may include legal research, drafting position statements, witness/fact investigations, due diligence, OFCCP audit work, and initial phase discovery work.

As a staff attorney in the labor and employment practice, you will be an integral member of the department, and will gain meaningful experience working with our attorneys and our fortune 500 clients. The position is not a partnership track position.

Qualifications include:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school, with current admission in North Carolina;
• Excellent academic credentials;
• 2-4 years prior employment law experience;
• Previous law firm experience;
• Excellent legal research and writing skills;
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to provide excellent client service;
• Strong organizational and analytical skills;
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel

Winston & Strawn LLP has an opening for a mid-level associate in the labor and employment department of the Chicago office. The group is looking for an associate with 3 - 5 years of labor & employment experience. Applicants should have strong litigation skills in handling labor and employment matters. Traditional labor law experience is also preferred. In addition to excellent academic credentials and law firm experience, the candidate should possess strong analytical, writing and verbal skills. Candidates must be admitted to the Illinois bar.
